Job summary

Under the Practice Manager, you will coordinate front office duties, support physicians and ambulatory care managers, and adapt to business needs with flexibility. Three years of relevant experience and strong communication are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience including customer service.
• Experience as a surgery scheduler.
• Knowledge of third-party payors including federal, state, and private health plans.
• Strong problem solving ability by using good judgment and applying these skills to assist customers and ensure customers' expectations are met.
• Proven computer skills and be able to work between multiple systems during calls.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Professionalism, credibility, commitment to high standards, innovation, discriminating judgment and accountability.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Applications i.e., Outlook, Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and perform front office duties.
• Assist with appointment scheduling, authorizations and referrals.
• Collect co-pays and answer patient inquiries.
• Coordinate with physicians, staff and ambulatory care managers.
