Presbyterian Healthcare Services is seeking a Surgery Scheduler to coordinate complex surgical cases at Presbyterian Rust Medical Center. The role requires managing OR, ASC, and clinic schedules, ensuring preoperative authorizations, and coordinating with surgeons and staff to ensure accurate case creation and completion.

The ideal candidate has 18 months of clinical experience, strong communication, and solid CPT/ICD-10 knowledge.

Qualifications

• Experience scheduling procedures and coordinating with surgeons, OR, ASC, and clinics.
• Strong communication skills to coordinate with providers, patients, and staff.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage complex schedules under pressure.
• Familiarity with CPT and ICD-10 coding and preoperative process requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with providers, patients, and stakeholders.
• Manage complex provider and OR schedules, including preoperative coordination.
• Ensure prior authorizations, referrals, and certifications are in place before procedures.
• Coordinate preoperative studies and staff resources for upcoming surgeries.
• Communicate with patients via multiple channels and support leadership with provider issues.
