Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a Surgical Technologist to assist the physician during surgery in the Operating Room across multiple specialties. You will perform technical and patient care duties under the direction of a Registered Nurse and act as a resource within the surgical team.

Required qualifications include a GED or HS Diploma, graduation from a Surgical Technology or LPN program, and certification such as BCLS, CST, and GA LPN if applicable.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of a Surgical Technology Program or LPN program required.

Responsibilities

• Assist physician during surgery in the OR for multiple specialties.

Qualifications

Education

• H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required and
• Graduate of a Surgical Technology Program or LPN program Required

Work Experience

• 3 years of expereince and Surgical Tech Certification Required or
• In lieu of degree 7 years of experience can be substituted for certification for a total requirement of 10 years of Surgical Tech experience. Required

Licenses and Certifications

• BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required and
• LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse - State Licensure Current GA LPN License, if applicable Upon Hire Required or
• CST - Certified Surgical Technologist Upon Hire Required
