Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a Surgical Tech to support the operating room across multiple specialties. You will assist the physician during surgery and perform technical and patient care tasks under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

The role requires an established Surgical Technology program or LPN training and active certification, with opportunities for a sign-on bonus. Join a skilled OR team in a dynamic hospital environment.

Competenze

• 3 years of experience and Surgical Tech Certification required.
• In lieu of degree, 7 years of experience can be substituted for certification for a total requirement of 10 years of Surgical Tech experience. Required

Functions as a clinical specialist across numerous service specialty lines. Assumes additional responsibilities for maintaining surgical specialties as necessary and serves as a resource. Functions on a more global level and is more involved in detailed surgical endeavors related to the surgery department.

Qualifications

Education

• H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required and
• Graduate of a Surgical Technology Program or LPN program Required

Work Experience

• 3 years of expereince and Surgical Tech Certification Required or
• In lieu of degree 7 years of experience can be substituted for certification for a total requirement of 10 years of Surgical Tech experience. Required

Licenses and Certifications

• BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required and
• LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse - State Licensure Current GA LPN License, if applicable Upon Hire Required or
• CST - Certified Surgical Technologist Upon Hire Required
