Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital in Marietta, GA, is seeking an OR Surgical Tech to assist physicians in the operating room across multiple specialties. You will perform technical and some patient care duties under the direction of a Registered Nurse, acting as a clinical resource in the surgery department.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, graduation from a surgical technology or LPN program, plus CST and BCLS certifications, with 3 years of experience or 10 years with substitution.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of Surgical Technology Program or LPN program required.
• 3 years of experience and Surgical Tech Certification required.
• In lieu of degree, 7 years of experience can substitute for certification (10 total).
• BCLS, CST certifications required upon hire; GA LPN license if applicable.

Responsibilities

Work Experience

• 3 years of expereince and Surgical Tech Certification Required or
• In lieu of degree 7 years of experience can be substituted for certification for a total requirement of 10 years of Surgical Tech experience. Required

Licenses and Certifications

• BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required and
• LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse - State Licensure Current GA LPN License, if applicable Upon Hire Required or
• CST - Certified Surgical Technologist Upon Hire Required
