Job summary

The Resort at Pelican Hill in Newport Beach, CA seeks a capable Supervisor Reservations to lead the Reservations staff and partner with the Reservations Manager to ensure smooth daily operations.

You will help maintain guest and employee satisfaction, support budget and business goals, and demonstrate strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel Administration, Business Administration or a related field preferred.
• Minimum two (2) years supervisory experience in a hotel/resort environment.
• Experience working in a high pressure, high volume environment.
• Excellent interpersonal communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to use appropriate interpersonal styles and methods to guide employees toward goal achievement.
• Experience developing and conducting employee training.
• Skilled in hiring, development of employee motivational programs, performance evaluations and discipline.
• Proficiency in a second language preferred.
