Job summary

Scharp is seeking a Program Manager to lead the ICMS Housing Services Program, serving vulnerable populations in Los Angeles County. The role requires navigating housing, homelessness, and supportive housing sectors while maintaining strong relationships with funders and partners.

The ideal candidate will have leadership experience in a fast-paced nonprofit setting, be proficient in reporting, and demonstrate cultural competency—meeting people where they are and promoting person-centered

Qualifications

• Must pass California DOJ background check (Live Scan/fingerprinting).
• Bachelor’s degree required in social work, nonprofit administration, public health, or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of team lead experience with vulnerable populations.
• Knowledge of LA County homelessness, affordable housing, and supportive housing sectors preferred.
• Ability to produce clear, transparent reports for stakeholders and funders.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent person-centered housing services.
• Improve and develop systems, policies, and procedures for Housing Services.
• Lead the Housing Services team to ensure effective programming.
• Develop and monitor reports for auditors, funders, and leadership.
• Support staff development, trainings, and certifications annually.
• Represent the organization to public agencies and the community.
