Job summary

Belk in Lynchburg, VA is hiring for a Support Flex Associate. You will drive sales and deliver a positive customer experience by efficiently processing inbound truck deliveries, preparing merchandise for the floor, and supporting floor sets and promotions.

You will work with merchandising and store fulfillment teams, handle RFID tasks for inventory accuracy, and maintain back-of-house organization. This hourly role requires flexibility including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ownership and initiative in achieving personal goals, store objectives, and daily priorities.
• Unload cartons from truck deliveries, separate by department, process, remove plastic, and hang items to ensure product readiness.
• Complete sensor tag application, product transfers, damage processing, and RFID tasks to support inventory accuracy.
• Assist with facilities processes, including lighting/recycling programs, work orders, store maintenance, and housekeeping responsibilities.
• Support merchandising and store fulfillment teams with floor sets, product presentations, promotional sets, price changes, and picking and packing customer orders.
• Maintain daily operational standards by replenishing supplies, supporting store recovery efforts, and organizing tools, supplies, and equipment.
