Job summary

Belk in Monroe, NC is seeking a Support Flex Associate who drives sales by delivering a positive customer experience. You will process inbound truck deliveries, ensure new merchandise is ready for the sales floor, and support with floor sets and merchandising presentation.

The role is hourly and requires a flexible schedule, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and teamwork to keep the store organized. You will learn operational processes, handle RFID tasks, and assist customers during peak periods

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comfort with smartphones and Windows devices.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Unload cartons and prepare items for the sales floor.
• Apply sensor tags and manage product transfers and RFID tasks.
• Assist with facilities tasks, lighting, maintenance and housekeeping.
• Support floor sets, pricing changes and order picking/packing.
• Replenish supplies and maintain a clean, organized store.
• Stay informed on promotions and store policies.
• Assist customers and teammates to enhance in-store experience.
• Support asset protection and safety procedures.
• Collaborate with merchandising and store fulfillment teams.
