Job summary

Belk is seeking a Support Flex Associate to drive sales and ensure a positive customer experience by handling inbound truck deliveries and replenishing stock for the floor. You will support outbound merchandise activities, assist with facilities maintenance, and maintain back-of-house organization while collaborating with merchandising to sign product.

This hourly role offers opportunities to learn operational processes, assist during peak traffic, and contribute to a positive store environment

Qualifications

• Dedication to customer service and a drive to achieve store objectives.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision in a deadline-driven environment.
• Comfortable using smartphones, tablets, and Windows-based systems.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ownership and initiative in achieving goals and priorities.
• Unload cartons from deliveries, sort by department, and prepare for sale floor.
• Apply sensor tags, transfer products, handle damages, and support RFID tasks.
• Assist facilities with maintenance, lighting, recycling, and work orders.
• Support merchandising and fulfillment with floor sets, pricing, and packing orders.
• Replenish supplies, support store recovery, and organize tools and equipment.
• Use training tools and feedback to grow knowledge of processes and policies.
• Improve in-store customer experience by assisting customers during peak times.
• Contribute to store culture by teamwork, knowledge sharing, and recognition.
• Follow safety and asset protection procedures to minimize risk.
