Job summary

Belk in Roanoke is seeking a Support Flex Associate to drive sales and deliver a positive customer experience. You will unload incoming deliveries, process merchandise, and support floor readiness while maintaining back-of-house organization.

The role emphasizes teamwork, flexibility, and adherence to store procedures. Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work a schedule including nights and weekends. This is an hourly position.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ownership in achieving goals and daily priorities.
• Unload cartons from truck deliveries and prepare items for sales floor.
• Complete sensor tag application, product transfers, and RFID tasks for inventory accuracy.
• Assist with facilities processes including lighting, store maintenance, and housekeeping.
• Support merchandising and store fulfillment with floor sets and price changes.
• Replenish supplies, assist with store recovery, and organize tools and equipment.
• Build knowledge of processes and policies through training tools and feedback.
• Enhance customer experience by assisting during peak times and covering shifts.
• Contribute to a positive store culture by sharing knowledge with teammates.
• Follow asset protection, safety guidelines, and security protocols.
