Job summary

Belk is seeking a Support Flex Associate in Charlottesville, VA to drive sales and deliver a positive customer experience. You will unload deliveries, tag and sort merchandise, and support inventory accuracy while assisting with floor sets and promotions.

The role is hourly and requires a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays, with responsibilities spanning customer service, housekeeping, and merchandise presentation to ensure product readiness.

Qualifications

• Customer service focus and a drive to achieve store objectives.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision in a deadline-driven environment.
• Ability to lift and move at least 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Unload cartons from truck deliveries and sort by department.
• Process items and prepare for rack/display, ensuring product readiness.
• Complete sensor tag application and RFID tasks for inventory accuracy.
• Support facilities tasks including maintenance, lighting, and housekeeping.
• Assist with floor sets, promotions, price changes, and order picking/packing.
• Restock supplies, maintain cleanliness, and organize equipment.
