Job summary

Five Below seeks an Interim Support Lead to manage front-end operations, cash handling, merchandising, and safety while delivering an outstanding shopping experience. You will assume Manager On Duty duties during shifts and help train associates to uphold Five Below's BEST service standards.

The role is a temporary leadership position during peak times, requiring strong communication, multi-tasking, and a passion for a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Creative thinking.
• Ability to maintain composure under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Ensures crew provide WOW customer service with personal contact.
• Trains crew on the BEST service; fast, friendly checkout.
• Oversees daily activities of store associates and service quality.
• Assists with receiving, unpacking and stocking for fast floor placement.
• Acts as Manager on Duty, handling operations and staff issues.
• Manages opening/closing, cash handling, and security procedures.
• Supports onboarding and ongoing training on policies and procedures.
• Drives sales and controls expenses through merchandising and performance.
