Job summary

Five Below is seeking an hourly store manager to lead crew members in delivering WOW customer service and smooth daily operations. You will oversee staff, assist with receiving and stocking, and help ensure accurate cash handling and store security.

The role emphasizes training new associates, driving sales, and maintaining merchandise presentation while adhering to store policies and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 years of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task.

• Ability to maintain composure under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Frequently operates cash register, computer, handheld device, phone, walkie, and mobile devices.
• Move merchandise weighing up to 25 lbs and up to 5–10 feet high.
• Ascend/descend ladders to retrieve stock.
• Stand for long periods and remain upright for 80% of the shift.
• Engage with customers, providing fast, friendly service.
• Open or close the store, secure cash, lock doors, and set alarms.
• Assist with onboarding and ongoing training of associates.
• Drive store sales and control expenses through merchandising and staff performance.
• Coordinate with store leadership on merchandising procedures and routines.
