Job summary

Five Below is seeking a Store Manager on an hourly basis to lead store operations and deliver WOW customer service. The role emphasizes training, scheduling, cash handling, and maintaining a high-energy store environment.

You will oversee daily activities, supervise associates, and ensure efficient operations from opening to closing while driving sales and providing exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 years of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Creative thinking.
• Ability to maintain composure under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Ensures crew members are Wowing the Customer through personal contact with customers.
• Trains the crew on the BEST customer service experience; ensuring that each guest has a fast, friendly checkout experience.
• Oversee the daily activities of all store associates, ensuring they perform duties effectively and provide excellent customer service.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock for quick placement on the sales floor.
• Act as Manager on Duty; take full responsibility for store operations, staff management, and customer service.
• Manage opening/closing processes, including securing cash, locking doors, setting alarms, and daily readiness.
• Support onboarding and ongoing training of associates to learn store policies and operations.
• Drive store sales and control expenses by optimizing merchandising, staff performance, and service.
• Collaborate with store leadership on merchandising procedures and World Recovery.
• Perform store maintenance such as cleaning, stock room upkeep, and general tidying.
