Job summary

Five Below in New Jersey is seeking an organized, energetic Store Leader to join our hourly team in a fast-paced environment. You will supervise crew members, train staff on exceptional customer service, and help open/close the store while ensuring accurate cash handling and safety procedures.

You will oversee daily tasks, guide associates on merchandising and inventory, and collaborate with the leadership team to boost sales and efficiency. Must be 18+ with strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 years of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task.

• Ability to maintain composure under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Ensures all crew members are Wowing the Customer through personal contact with customers and trains the crew on the BEST customer service experience.
• Oversee daily activities of store associates to ensure duties are performed with excellent service.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock for fast placement on the sales floor.
• Act as Manager on Duty, taking responsibility for store operations, staff management, and customer service.
• Manage opening/closing procedures, cash security, and store readiness.
• Support onboarding and ongoing training of associates on policies and product knowledge.
• Drive store sales and control expenses by optimizing merchandising and staff performance.
• Partner with store leadership on merchandising procedures and overall operations.
