Job summary

Five Below Inc. in New Jersey is seeking a motivated store leader to oversee daily operations, staff performance and exceptional guest service. The role includes opening/closing, training, and ensuring a fast checkout experience.

You will work with the store leadership team, drive sales, manage inventory, and uphold company standards. The position is hourly with starting pay around $16.42 per hour and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Creative thinking.
• Ability to maintain composure under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Wows customers with personal contact and excellent service.
• Trains crew on the BEST customer service experience for a fast, friendly checkout.
• Oversees daily activities of store associates and their performance.
• Assists with receiving, unpacking, and stocking of new stock for fast floor placement.
• Acts as Manager on Duty and oversees store operations, staff, and customer issues.
• Manages opening/closing duties, cash, locks, alarms, and daily readiness.
• Supports onboarding and ongoing training of associates.
• Drives sales and controls expenses through merchandising and service improvements.
• Partners with store leadership on merchandising and World Recovery procedures.
• Performs store maintenance including cleaning and stockroom upkeep.
