Job summary

Belk is seeking a Selling Flex Associate to deliver a positive customer experience by assisting with merchandise selection, making product recommendations, and processing transactions. This hourly role drives sales and supports store objectives while maintaining attractive presentations and inventory control.

You will greet customers, apply suggestive selling techniques, and build relationships to foster loyalty. Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or retail preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with merchandise selection and provide product recommendations.
• Process transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain selling areas and signage to company standards.
• Support store operations including pricing, restocking and stock replenishment.
