Job summary

Target is offering a paid 40 hr/week Operations Intern program in its Supply Chain facilities. You will gain hands-on leadership experience, work closely with mentors and managers, and learn to lead a department while focusing on safety, productivity, and quality.

You will develop problem-solving skills, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and participate in extensive training to grow as a Target leader throughout the internship.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership roles in school or extracurricular activities.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both written and spoken.
• Strong problem-solving skills and proactive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Spending time on the facilities floor helping to lead amongst team members and aligning the team in daily business priorities.
• Working alongside team members to lead through daily priorities.
• Maintaining a high standard of quality/inventory accuracy through standardization of processes and ensuring accountability.
• Tracking KPIs such as safety, teamwork, quality and productivity to identify gaps and drive actions.
• Leading safety walks and coaching team members to continuous improvement.
