Job summary

Open Systems Inc. in Torrance, CA is seeking an organized administrative and operational support contractor for the Supply Chain Management team.

You will handle data entry for ocean and air shipments, maintain records, and assist with invoicing using the Glovia ERP system. Key duties include creating ASNs, tracking shipment status, coordinating with suppliers and internal teams, and supporting delivery schedule adjustments.

Qualifications

• Experience in supply chain, logistics, purchasing, import/export, or warehousing.
• Experience with shipment coordination and schedule management.
• Familiarity with PO, lead time, ETD/ETA, ASN, inventory, and ocean/air transport.
• Experience with ERP systems such as Glovia, SAP, Oracle, or similar.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in transactional data.
• Good follow-up, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform data entry and maintain records for shipments.
• Process invoices and supply chain transactions in Glovia.
• Create and process ASNs via email and EDI.
• Monitor shipment status and coordinate with suppliers and internal teams.
• Support delivery schedule changes and urgent shipments.
• Assist other purchasing and logistics activities as needed.
