Job summary

Sanmina is seeking an experienced Shipping/Logistics Specialist to join our San Jose, CA team. You will enter data, verify accuracy, and handle international shipments from start to finish, including documentation and invoicing in Oracle.

The role requires 5+ years in international shipments, strong knowledge of export paperwork, and proficiency with MS Office. A valid driver's license is preferred, with opportunities to support local transport and inventory tasks.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience handling international shipments.
• Experience using Oracle is a big plus.
• Proficiency in basic MS Office (Excel and Word).
• Strong understanding of international shipping processes, compliance, and required export paperwork.
• High attention to detail to spot errors, strong organizational habits, and valid driver's license (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Pack shipments securely and prepare goods for transport.
• Schedule pickups and contact freight or delivery companies like UPS or FedEx
• Enter shipping details from paper or digital files into Oracle.
• Create Commercial Invoices and file documents through the AES system for global orders.
• Perform driving duties as needed to support local transport or inventory moves
• Manage filing systems, retrieve "Proof of Delivery" documents, and write simple administrative memos.
• Utilize Excel to track shipping tasks, schedules, and inventory status.
• Handle invoicing and general shipping workflows using primary software tools.
