Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) managing the execution of major project segments or divisions within a large-scale military construction (MILCON) or infrastructure program, such as monitoring cost, schedule, performance, and risk metrics to ensure compliance with federal laws and agency policy; and 2) providing recommendations or technical briefings for senior management, executive leaders, or external military stakeholders. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-14).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-14).
