U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is seeking a Senior Realty Specialist to apply mastery of real estate regulations, principles and practices and to serve as a primary liaison with divisions and districts for delineating project requirements and providing guidance on non-sensitive matters.
The role requires handling complex federal real estate transactions, property management, and negotiations with stakeholders. Location is Norfolk, VA, and the position is full-time in the federal service.

One year of specialized experience which includes; 1) Experience utilizing federal real estate principles, policies and methods to finalize a lease or other federal real estate instrument, or to acquire or manage property; AND 2) Experience resolving critical problems over a wide range of complex, long term, federal realty projects; AND 3) Experience completing complex federal real estate transactions and/or property management activities such as multiple and/or conflicting uses of land, space, or facilities; AND 4) Experience negotiating in sensitive or unpredictable federal real estate related situations with reluctant or uncooperative property owners and/or other agencies as a Realty Specialist. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-???????12).
