About the Position:

Serve as Program Executive for the overall VA John J. Cochran Veterans Hospital major design and construction program, responsible for all facets of customer interface and program execution.

Specialized Experience:
  1. Managing and executing a major design and construction program ensuring compliance with project management plans and schedules.

  3. Leading a team of professional and technical staff engaged in project management, budgeting, scheduling, and contract administration for complex construction projects.
  4. Interfacing with customers and stakeholders to represent leadership, resolve issues, and ensure communication of project status and commitments.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-14). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.

Time in Grade Requirement:
