Job summary

Mercy seeks a skilled supervisor to assist department managers with daily operations and to coordinate teams effectively. You will help implement department processes and ensure continuity in management, while proactively identifying trends and suggesting solutions.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum of five (5) years relevant experience; supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience with department software/systems; healthcare experience preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and professional interactions.

Responsibilities

• Assist department managers with day-to-day operations.
• Coordinate and supervise co-workers and activities.
• Assist managers with departmental process improvements and ensure management continuity.
• Identify trends, issues and problems and propose possible solutions.

Effectively coordinates changes in the departments. Works closely with Managers to ensure management continuity and consistency. Requires independent thinking, problem-solving abilities and supervisory skills. Requires proactive identification of trends, issues and problems as well as identification of possible solutions. Performs all duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with Mercy Values.

Position Details:
