Ascension Medical Group in Anderson, IN is seeking a Nurse Manager to coordinate staff scheduling and development for our Primary Care and Urgent Care teams. This full-time role covers weekday days with potential Saturday coverage, ensuring smooth patient flow and adherence to clinical standards.

You will lead hiring and training initiatives, support QA activities, monitor compliance, and act as a resource to staff and external contacts.

Competenze

• 1 year of cumulative job-specific experience required.
• BLS Provider certification within 30 days of hire.
• Practical/Vocational Nurse licensure required prior to hire.

How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Coordinates staff scheduling and educational/development activities.
• Identifies and contributes to resolution affecting the delivery of patient care. Performs quality assurance studies and assists with implementation of quality assurance and/or improvement initiatives.
• Serves as resource to staff and external contacts on issues related to patient care, patient flow and clinical standards, policies and procedures.
• Monitors departmental compliance requirements.
• Conducts hiring, training, directing, development and evaluation of staff.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s):
• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Practical/Vocational Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education

• Required professional licensure/certification AND 1 year of cumulative job specific experience required.
