Ascension Medical Group Clinic in Evansville, IN seeks a registered nurse to support pediatric patients in the Westside Crossing department. You’ll implement and monitor care plans, coordinate with physicians and nurses, and ensure orders are carried out accurately.

You’ll assess discharge needs, document patient progress, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to keep high-quality, compassionate care on track. A state nursing license and BLS are required within 30 days of hire.

Formación

• Licensed registered nurse in Indiana.
• BLS Provider within 30 days of hire or instructor certification accepted.
• Diploma from an accredited nursing program or equivalent licensure.

• Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am-4:30pm

How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Implements and monitors patient care plans. Monitors, records and communicates patient condition as appropriate.
• Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders.
• Assesses and coordinates patient’s discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s):
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Valid state license required specific to the state in which the associate works.
  • One or more of the following:
    • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
    • Instructor specializing in Basic Life Support obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required. OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
