Ascension St. Vincent Anderson in Anderson, IN is seeking a Registered Nurse for night shift, full-time, 6:00pm–6:30am, every third weekend and rotating holidays. The role serves as primary coordinator of patient care, implementing and monitoring care plans and coordinating discharge planning.

Minimum requirements include Indiana RN licensure, BLS within 30 days of hire, and a nursing diploma. The position offers comprehensive benefits and professional development within Ascension's

How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Implements and monitors patient care plans. Monitors, records and communicates patient condition as appropriate.
• Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders.
• Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s):
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• One or more of the following:
• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Instructor specializing in Basic Life Support obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required. OR Required professional licensure at time of hire
