Job summary

Ascension’s Carmel Clay Wellness Clinic in Carmel, IN seeks a Practical/Vocational Nurse to contribute to patient assessments, administer medications and monitor for adverse reactions. The role involves performing laboratory tests and delivering therapeutic services in a preventative care setting.

You will educate patients and families about treatment plans, discharge care, and available resources, while supporting holistic health needs and follow-up care.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Practical/Vocational Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing with a valid state license prior to hire date.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s):
• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Practical/Vocational Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Valid state license required specific to the state in which the associate works.

Education

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. *Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
