Shields Health Care Group is seeking a Patient Care Representative to deliver exceptional customer service and support patient flow in a busy health care setting on Sundays. You will greet patients, assist with check-in, collect payments, explain forms, and coordinate with clinicians while maintaining HIPAA and privacy policies.

The role requires strong communication, data entry accuracy, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Excellent communication skills and computer proficiency required.
• Attention to detail and typing accuracy required.
• Ability to follow instructions with minimal supervision.
• Proven ability to multi task and exceed customer expectations is required.
• Ability to sit for extended periods of time while simultaneously performing data entry and information intake via phone.

Responsabilités

• Greet patients, collect copay/deductible/coinsurance and explain consent forms.
• Assist patients with iPad check-in and troubleshoot as needed.
• Recognize when language services are needed and use them appropriately.
• Distribute films/CDs while maintaining HIPAA and privacy policies.
• Collaborate with technologists/radiologists to ensure patient flow.
• Process mail and deliveries and maintain daily deposits.
