Job summary

Great Wolf Lodge in Perryville, MD offers a Summer Hospitality Internship in a full-time, on-site 10-week program across Guest Services, Housekeeping, Retail, Attractions, Entertainment, or Food & Beverage with hands-on experience and mentorship.

You will deliver family-friendly service, participate in cross-department shadowing, and complete required training while exploring potential full-time opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must be currently enrolled in an associate degree or bachelor's degree program during internship.
• Available to complete at minimum a 10-week program (End of May to Early August).
• Experience utilizing basic math skills with ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read, write, and interpret instructional documents such as reports and procedure manuals.
• Flexibility regarding scheduling based on business demands; including evenings, weekends, and Holidays.
• Must have unrestricted work authorization in the US.
• No housing or relocation will be provided.
• Successful completion of a criminal background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage guests while maintaining professional presentation.
• Respond promptly to guest inquiries and elevate issues to leadership.
• Enhance the guest experience through providing exceptional customer service.
• Follow all safety guidelines, company procedures, and asset protection protocols.
• Perform all duties and responsibilities outlined for your assigned department.
• Engage in cross-departmental job shadows and collaborate on a group project.
