Job summary

Beck’s Hybrids is offering a paid internship from May to August 2027 in Indiana. Interns will engage in planting, data collection, plot identification, and production modules at the PFR farm site, gaining hands-on experience in agronomic research and production practices.

Expected activities include learning to diagnose agronomic issues, evaluating hybrid performance, and supporting the sales staff with field projects.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate coursework in agriculture.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.
• This is a safety-sensitive position.

Responsibilities

• Planting Module: set up and plant research studies, organize seed, plant, clean meters, and flag plots.
• Data Collection and Thinning Module: collect, report, analyze stand count data, and thin plots.
• Plot Identification Module: design, map, and identify varieties/technologies with signs and stakes.
• Production Module: support agronomic production and ride along with Location Lead on customer calls to evaluate product performance.
