Job summary

Beck's Hybrids invites motivated undergraduates to join a summer internship program in Minnesota, offering hands-on exposure to research learning modules such as planting, data collection, plot identification, and production support on the PFR farm.

From May through August, interns gain practical experience in agronomy, stand counts, and product performance while collaborating with Beck's Hybrids sales staff and the Location Lead. Housing is provided or a stipend is offered.

Qualifications

• Undergrad coursework in agriculture.
• Valid driver's license and insurable driving record.
• This is a safety-sensitive position.

Responsibilities

• Planting module: set up and plant research studies at the PFR farm site, including seed organization and plot flagging.
• Data collection: collect, report and analyze stand counts and thinning to match treatments and variables.
• Plot identification: design and map test plots and identify varieties using signs and stakes.
• Production module: support production agriculture through agronomic activities and ride-alongs with location staff.
