Job summary

Beck's Hybrids offers a paid Summer Internship from May to August 2027 at the PFR farm. Interns participate in planting, data collection, thinning, plot identification, and production modules to gain hands-on experience in research and real-world agriculture.

Housing is furnished or provided as a stipend, and interns will develop professional skills through mentored projects and collaboration with sales staff in the marketing area.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate coursework in an agricultural-related field is required.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and insurable driving record.
• This is a safety-sensitive position.

Responsibilities

• Planting module: assist in setting up and planting research studies at the farm site.
• Data collection and thinning module: collect stand counts and analyze plot populations.
• Plot identification module: map test plots and identify varieties and technologies.
• Production module: support agronomic efforts and ride along with sales staff to evaluate product performance.
