Job summary

Beck’s Hybrids offers a paid internship from May to August 2027 with housing options or stipends provided. Interns will gain hands-on exposure to multiple research modules, including planting, data collection, plot identification, and production support, at the PFR farm site.

Start work in early May and continue through early August, with focus on diagnosing agronomic issues and evaluating hybrid performance in real-world production agriculture.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate coursework in agricultural field.
• Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.
• This is a safety-sensitive position.
• Chauffeur license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planting research studies at the PFR farm site.
• Learn data collection and thinning; report and analyze stand count data.
• Identify and map test plots; install signs and stakes on plots.
• Provide agronomic support to Beck’s Hybrids sales staff; ride along on customer calls.
