Job summary

Lettuce Entertain You is NOW HIRING for Summer Culinary BOH Internship Opportunities across Illinois, Minnesota and other markets. The program runs May 25 through August 4, 2027, about 10 weeks in length. Applications are due by Friday, April 9, 2027.

Interns are responsible for housing and transportation and should email [e-mail] with questions. Interns will work hourly in a restaurant, attend weekly virtual meetings with Lettuce industry experts, and complete a group project

Qualifications

• Required 1 year of practical experience OR current enrollment in a culinary program.

Responsibilities

• Participate in and complete internship program activities (weekly seminars, management checklists, summer festivals, group events).
• Perform essential functions in hourly restaurant roles (host, server, busser, cook, etc.) as assigned by the supervising manager.
• Safely use and operate kitchen tools and equipment.
• Work varied days and shifts, including weekends and nights.
• Communicate effectively in written and spoken directions.
• Move and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
