Lettuce Entertain You is NOW HIRING for Summer Culinary BOH Internship Opportunities in the Chicago suburbs. Interns will rotate through hourly roles in our Chicago-area restaurants, with weekly virtual meetings and a final group project presented at a live expo in Chicago.

The program runs May 25 to August 4, 2027 (about 10 weeks). Applications close April 9, 2027. Housing and transportation are the interns' responsibility; inquiries can be directed to [e-mail].

Qualifications

• 1 year of practical experience OR current enrollment in a culinary program
• Experience with Italian or French cuisine is a big plus!

Responsibilities

• Participate in and complete internship program activities
• Attend weekly virtual meetings covering restaurant financials, menu creation, marketing and more
• Complete a group project with a final presentation at a live expo in Chicago
• Work hourly roles in Illinois restaurants and related markets
• Assist in and learn from essential management tasks and festival participation
• Support the team in guest service and restaurant operations as needed
