Job summary

Lettuce Entertain You is now hiring for its Summer Culinary BOH Internship Opportunities across multiple markets, including Chicago. The program runs May 25 through August 4, 2027, about 10 weeks, with weekly educational meetings and hands-on restaurant work.

Interns will work hourly roles in Illinois and other states, attend virtual meetings with industry experts, and complete a group project with a final expo in Chicago.

Qualifications

• 1 year of practical experience or current enrollment in a culinary program.
• Experience with Italian or French cuisine is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Participate in weekly seminars, management checklists, and internship activities.
• Perform hourly restaurant roles (host, server, runner, busser, cook) at the assigned location.
• Support Windy City Smokeout festival involvement in Chicago area as needed.
• Collaborate on a group project and present at a live expo in Chicago.
• Follow safety and sanitation guidelines and company policies.
