Lettuce Entertain You is NOW HIRING for Summer Culinary BOH Internship Opportunities across multiple markets, including Illinois and Maryland, running May 25 through August 4, 2027 (about 10 weeks). Interns pursue a hands-on kitchen experience alongside weekly learning sessions and group projects.

Chicago-based interns should note Windy City Smokeout (July 8–11, 2027) attendance is mandatory, with travel and housing responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Required: 1 year of practical experience OR current enrollment in a culinary program
• Any experience with Italian or French cuisine is a big plus!

Responsibilities

• Participate in and complete weekly seminars, management checklists, and intern expo.
• Perform essential functions in assigned restaurant location (host, server, runner, busser, cook, etc.).
• Safely use and operate tools and equipment and work various shifts including weekends and nights.
• Communicate effectively to meet job requirements and collaborate with team members.
• Follow safety and sanitation guidelines and company policies.
