Job summary

Lettuce Entertain You is NOW HIRING for Summer Culinary BOH Internship Opportunities in Chicago and other markets. The program runs May 25–Aug 4, 2027 (about 10 weeks). Interns work hourly roles across multiple locations and attend weekly virtual meetings with Lettuce industry experts.

Interns participate in a group project with a final presentation at a live expo in Chicago. Chicago-area interns must be available for Windy City Smokeout (July 8–11, 2027).

Qualifications

• 1 year of practical experience OR current enrollment in a culinary program.
• Any experience with Italian or French cuisine is a big plus.

Responsibilities

• Participate in weekly seminars and internship activities.
• Perform duties of hourly restaurant roles as assigned.
• Attend Windy City Smokeout event with prior approval.
• Complete internship projects and expo presentation.
