Job summary

Lettuce Entertain You is NOW HIRING for Summer Culinary BOH Internship Opportunities in Chicago. The program runs May 25–Aug 4, 2027 with roughly 10 weeks of hands-on restaurant work and weekly virtual education.

Interns will be hired for hourly roles at Lettuce Entertain You restaurants, with mandatory Windy City Smokeout festival participation. Housing is not provided; internships include group projects culminating in a live expo in Chicago.

Qualifications

• Required: 1 year of practical experience OR current enrollment in a culinary program.
• Any experience with Italian or French cuisine is a big plus!

Responsibilities

• Participate in weekly seminars and internship activities.
• Perform tasks in the kitchen and front-of-house roles as assigned by supervising managers.
• Contribute to prep, service, and festival-related duties as needed.
• Support project work and final expo presentation in Chicago.
