Zusammenfassung

Wolfoods is seeking an experienced Assistant Kitchen Manager to lead kitchen staff and oversee all prep and production for a busy on-site camp kitchen. You will manage allergen safety protocols and ensure high standards in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, with live-in accommodations provided.

The role is seasonal (May–Sept), full-time and exempt, requiring a 6-day/70-hour weekly schedule across rural summer camp facilities.

Qualifikationen

2+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional/batch baking experience.
ServSafe Allergens certification required before start date (company-sponsored).
Strong leadership, problem-solving and ingredient versatility.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen and manage staff.
Willingness to live on-site in a rustic setting and meet long hours.

Aufgaben

Lead and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy, positive environment.
Oversee all prep and production for designated day part; ensure timely service.
Manage allergen safety protocols (Kosher, Nut-Free, Gluten-Free, Vegan, etc.).
Control inventory, budget, and assist with daily reporting.
Serve as liaison between kitchen operations, campers, and camp leadership.
