TYLin is seeking a Buildings Engineering Intern for our San Antonio, TX office for Summer 2027. You’ll gain hands-on experience in structural design and drawings for commercial, institutional, and residential buildings, from concept through construction, with mentorship from seasoned engineers.

Ideal candidates are currently in their third year of a Civil or Architectural Engineering program with a focus on structures.

Qualifications

• Requires current 3rd year standing as an undergraduate or a graduate student in Civil Engineering or Architectural Engineering with a focus on structures.
• Completion of steel and concrete design classes preferred; completion of at least one required.

Responsabilités

• Assist the project team in preparing structural design and drawings for buildings from conceptual through construction stages.
• Perform field reviews of projects under construction and document existing conditions.
• Assist with computer modeling and hand calculations.
