Qualifications

• Current 3rd year or grad student in Civil/Architectural Engineering (structures focus).
• Steel and concrete design coursework preferred or required.
• Experience with MS Word, Excel and engineering software.
• REVIT Structure familiarity beneficial; co-op/internship in buildings a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work with the project team to assist in preparing structural design and drawings for buildings (commercial, institutional, residential, etc.) from conceptual and preliminary stages of design through construction.
• Perform field review for projects under construction and/or visit existing buildings to document existing conditions.
• Become familiar with engineering plans and details.
• Assist with computer modeling & hand calculations.
