Job summary

Milliman’s Actuarial Internship is a full-time, 10-week summer program (June 1–August 5, 2027) designed for quantitative students. You’ll support actuarial consultants with basic calculations, data analysis, and client deliverables in a collaborative setting.

Ideal candidates are rising juniors/seniors pursuing actuarial careers, with strong Excel skills, good communication, and a self-driven attitude. SOA progress is preferred but not required; in-office expectations include twice-weekly

Qualifications

• Pursuing a quantitative bachelor’s degree.
• SOA exam progress preferred but not required.
• Strong analytical and math skills; Excel proficiency expected.

Responsibilities

• Prepare basic actuarial calculations and government form filings.
• Assist with data analysis and client deliverables.
• Contribute to projects with guidance from actuaries and interns.
• Support team with data reconciliation and reserve calculations.
• Collaborate with project team to deliver reports.
