Job summary

Milliman’s Employee Benefits Consulting Practice is seeking a Part-time summer 2027 actuarial internship for a 10-week program from June 1 to August 5. This on-site role in the Dallas area offers hands-on experience in basic actuarial work and client deliverables.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a quantitative bachelor's degree with strong analytical and Excel skills, eager to learn, and prepared to work with a team on diverse actuarial projects. SOA progress is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a quantitative bachelor’s degree with strong analytical skills.
• SOA exam progress preferred but not required.
• Rising juniors or seniors encouraged to apply.
• Excel experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Prepare basic actuarial calculations and government form filings.
• Reconciling claims data and projecting future costs; assist with reserve calculations.
• Perform data analysis using Excel and ProVal to support client work.
• Collaborate within a project team to deliver client reports and deliverables.
• Support senior staff on various actuarial projects.
