Job summary

Milliman is seeking motivated college students for a full-time summer internship in the Employee Benefits Consulting Practice. This 10-week program runs June 1 to August 5, 2027, offering hands-on actuarial exposure and skill development in a collaborative environment.

You will work with experienced consultants, gain exposure to basic actuarial calculations, filings, and client deliverables, and contribute to diverse projects within employee benefits.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a quantitative bachelor's degree; some SOA progress preferred but not required.
• Strong analytical, communication, Excel, and time management skills for actuarial work.
• Self-motivated attitude with teamwork and eagerness to learn in a professional setting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare basic actuarial calculations and government form filings for client deliverables.
• Perform data analysis using Excel and ProVal to support various employee benefits work areas.
• Collaborate within cross-functional project teams to deliver client reports and milestones.
• Assist senior staff on multiple projects and tasks as needed.
