Job summary

Milliman's Employee Benefits Consulting Practice is seeking motivated college students for a full-time summer 2027 internship. The internship runs for 10 weeks from June 1 to August 5 and offers hands-on actuarial exposure.

As an Actuarial Intern you will support consultants, perform basic calculations, data analysis in Excel, and collaborate across a project team to deliver client deliverables.

Qualifications

• Pursuing bachelor's degree with quantitative coursework.
• Strong Excel skills including formulas and pivot tables.
• Must reside within 50 miles of an EBC office and be able to work on site twice weekly.

Responsibilities

• Prepare basic actuarial calculations, government form filings, and other client deliverables.
• Reconciling claims data, projecting future costs, act on reserve calculations and plan design changes.
• Perform data analysis using Excel, ProVal, and Milliman programs.
• Collaborate within a project team to deliver client reports and deliverables.
• Support senior staff on various projects.
