Job summary

Milliman's Employee Benefits Consulting Practice invites motivated college students to join a full-time summer 2027 internship for 10 weeks, from June 1 to August 5. The role offers hands-on actuarial experience, exposure to government filings, and collaboration with experienced consultants in a supportive environment.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a quantitative bachelor’s degree with strong analytical, Excel, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a quantitative bachelor's degree (rising junior/senior) in math, stats, economics or related field.
• Strong Excel skills including formulas and pivot tables.
• Must reside within 50 miles of an EBC office and be available to work on-site twice a week near Seattle.

Responsibilities

• Prepare basic actuarial calculations and government form filings for client deliverables.
• Reconcile claims data and project future costs.
• Perform data analysis using Excel, ProVal, and Milliman programs.
• Collaborate with project teams to deliver client reports and deliverables.
• Support senior staff on various actuarial projects.
