Milliman’s Employee Benefits Consulting Practice is seeking motivated college students for a full-time summer 2027 internship. The internship is a 10-week program, starting June 1st and ending August 5th.

You will gain hands-on experience in preparing basic actuarial calculations, government form filings, and other client deliverables. As an Actuarial Intern, you will work with consulting professionals, perform data analysis using Excel, ProVal, and Milliman programs, and contribute to numerous

Qualifications

• Pursuing a quantitative bachelor’s degree.
• Eligible for rising juniors or seniors (SOA progress preferred).
• Experience with Excel, including formulas and pivot tables.
• Must reside within 50 miles of an EBC office and be in the office twice a week.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to actuarial consultants and assist with basic actuarial calculations and government form filings.
• Reconciling claims data and projecting future costs; assist with reserve calculations and price plan design changes.
• Perform data analysis using Excel, ProVal, and Milliman programs to support client deliverables.
• Collaborate within project teams to deliver client reports and deliverables.
• Support senior staff on various projects.
